3 Chrome extension you should try

If you are a regular follower of this blog, you should have seen many post encouraging Mozilla Firefox. But I had to use Chrome instead of Firefox to test out many experiments because of the following reasons

  • start-up for chrome is mind-boggling
  • Plugin crashes are much lesser times than Firefox
  • Loading  and allowing the Java applet for website such as Keepvid( YouTube video downloader site) sucks

I had been trying Chrome browser for the past 4 days and it works awesome. I recommend 3 chrome extension that you should check it for sure.

Panic Button:

panic button

Panic Button helps you to start your work again where you left.  The internet session is saved and can be opened on a click. You can also auto login if your cookies is not cleared or expired.

Stay Focused:

stay focused

If you are an Internet or Facebook/twitter addict, you should try this extension. Stay Focused allows you to use  site only for a particular time. If you had set time as 10 mins for Facebook and your count down has reached the specified, you will not be able to access that site. You should wait for the next day to browse the blocked site.

  3. I have been a loyal FireFox fan for a long time but lately it has been driving me nuts! It has been crashing and then this strange thing is happening where the page I’ve been viewing will go gray (like my default homepage)! I’ll have to close and relaunch my Firefox session.

Chrome has been glitchy in the past but seems to be faring a lot better as of late.

I’m just in general very frustrated with my web browsers. My apologies! :)

  4. Well I am using both browsers but I have never heard about Panic Button. This feature is really very useful to exempt from the panic of recalling the previous work.

  5. Thanks for the Panic Button, that should be quite useful ;) One of my favourite chrome extensions that I use is “Sexy Undo Close Tab”. Really useful to restore closed tabs.

  6. If you want also eBay support for Invisible Hand you can add ‘eBay Spy’ chrome extension. It will show you the best deals on eBay, great stuff, often the lowest price in there.

  7. There are a lot of chrome extensions from the chrome web store. I am only using some for backlink building purposes like the seoquake plugin and the no follow highlighter. Thanks for the information about the panic button. I usually rely on automatic restore when I accidentally close my browser. But that doesn’t work all the time on Chrome.

  9. I actually don’t use any Chrome extension to make sure it runs really quickly. Instead, I’ve loaded up Firefox with SEO extensions, when I need to investigate a site or page in more depth.
