Disable URL suggestions in firefox
Many people use Mozilla Firefox than Google Chrome because we simply love FireFox than Google ( Remember I din say Chrome ) . One of the trouble some users face is that we could see a list of URL links (suggestion ) in the Address Bar from Bookmark List , RSS feeds that you recently visited.
If you wanted to disable or minimize the number of URL need to be showed when you type in the Address bar , here is a way to change the settings .
- Enter “about:config” in the address bar .
- Click the “I’ll be careful. I promise !” button
- Type maxRichResults in the filter box and change the value for browser.urlbar.maxRichResults to “0″ (Zero – without quotes)
- Incase if you need to decrease/adjust the number of URLs displayed , use a positive value from 1 to 12(maximum)
