All the phone operator has announced to its customer that the sim card will not work if you don not have a correct IMEI Number. All the Mobile not having a IMEI number will not work from December 13,2009.You can check your IMEI numbet by pressing *#06#. Most of the China/Korean sets have either no IMEI or Invalid IMEI number. So you need to change the mobile or register a IMEI number at Govt. approved centres. to get a valid IMEI number for your mobile .For airtel customer, you can know the Govt approved centers for registering IMEI by sending “HS (pin code)” to 121(toll free). Eg: HS 600017 to 121.
You(who is handing over the mobile) are requested to photo and address verification certificate like driving license or ration card or passpost etc. It costs INR199( Indian Rupees )

What is Google Wave ?

Google Wave is a new communication and collaboration platform based on hosted XML documents (called waves) supporting concurrent modifications and low-latency updates. Google Wave is an HTML 5 app, built on Google Web Toolkit.

Google wave has lot of features where you can communicate easily using Google wave. Most of the time mail and instant messaging are done sepeartely but Google wave makes communication in a single platform. You can watch what your friend is typing simultaneously in chat, which makes communication more faster.

While searching on Forum about photograghic work , i saw this photo, This is a picture taken directly above these camels in the desert at sunset. It is considered one of the best pictures of the year. Look closely, the camels are the little white lines in the picture. The black you see are just the shadows!!

On November 23, Microsoft said that it is investigating a possible vulnerability in Internet Explorer after exploit code that could take control of your computer.the exploit code affects IE 6 and IE 7, but not IE 8, and it said it is “currently unaware of any attacks trying to use the claimed vulnerability or of customer impact”

The exploit code was published to the BugTraq mailing list on Friday

According to symantec , The exploit targets a vulnerability in the way Internet Explorer uses Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) information. CSS is used in many Web pages to define the presentation of the sites’ content.

The exploit currently exhibits signs of poor reliability, but we expect that a fully functional, reliable exploit will be available in the near future,” Symantec said. Symantec urges IE users to keep their antivirus software up-to-date, disable JavaScript, and visit only trusted Web sites, until Microsoft issues a patch for the hole.

Anyone believed to have been affected can visit Microsoft’s Consumer Security Support Center, report it to the Internet Crime Complaint Center, and contact the FBI or law enforcement in the particular country, Microsoft said. U.S. residents can also call Microsoft’s PC Safety Customer Service and Support number at 1-866-727-2338.

The Intenet Giant’s Google has announced the Open Source Operating System under the name Google Chromium . The website states that it is best compatable for users who spent most of their time on web and provides fast, secure computing experience.
It will be available by next year.

Microsoft has announced the releasing period of Windows 8.
After the grant release of Windows 7 on October 22,2009, It had a great sales and impact in Compatability , security and faster than its previous version Windows Vista and Windows XP. According to NASA(Link) , it had also worked with other agencies for Microsoft to enhance Security.
Windows 7 is already sold twice as many as any other Windows product in one month.
In the meanwhile, Microsoft announced the Time frame for the release of Windows 8 in 2012. However because of the release of Windows 7 updates and Service Pack, i believe it could be delayed about another one year.
