Google launched the Beta version of Google Search yesterday. The main feature Google needed to provide to its user is Searches should not be traced or viewed by third party applications or even Internet Service Providers(ISP). By using SSL(Secure Sockets Layer) for search there will be secure connection between your computer and the Google Server. This means that even your company’s firewall can’t interrupt you in search results from the restricted websites. I still think that even the individual country’s filtering will not be done in these Searches. Not sure. Welcome you all to my website, Some months ago , Google introduced Google Public DNS , by using a reliable DNS , you can load website little faster . Basically DNS(Domain Name System) is for resolving a domain name into its associated IP address and loading the content. Some of the key features to be noted for configuring a DNS is
* should not interrupt(censor) domain name
* Avoiding DNS query reject
* Faster browser experience
* Preventing DNS false caching which can be used by hackers to redirect to a phishing webpage. etc
The thing is, i had thought to configure DNS to my machine and tried to run DNS test from two popular softwares.

I loaded the Google NameBench test and i was astonished . It showed me that by using Google Public DNS – Preferred DNS : 8.8.8.8 and Alternate DNS: 8.8.4.4, the internet will load 151% faster than my current Primary DNS. I also tried to test with DNS BenchMark and i found the similar result with it.
Please do comment if you were aware Google Public DNS , whether you are currently using Google DNS and is it faster than the previous one.
It’s time Google has made open to Wave all google users. Google announced Wave at the end of last year. At that time, Only users with invitation can register . Now during this Google I/O meeting, they have announced that Google Wave will be available open to all. Although Beginners will find it difficult to follow, you will find ease after using a while.

The World’s first Social Media Network , Facebook announced on it’s blog that users from 45 countries(50 mobile operators) can check the Facebook’s latest updates, post, feeds, etc via GPRS enabled mobile phones for free. The plan is named as ‘Zero’ facebook plan as it does not cost you to use facebook . The plan was prepared in february of this year and it is now established. The main points to be noted is
* you need to log in from http://0.facebook.com (zero-dot-facebook-dot-com)
* Photo are not displayed.
* If you want the photos to be displayed , you need to use mobile version(m.facebook.com) of the site which cost you standard GPRS rates
This zero version facebook is faster and are available at no cost to the users of 50 Telecom operators across the Globe.In India, users of Reliance and Videocon can avail this. They have also posted that sooner , this zero version will be available to more 11 operators
